RELEASE DESCRIPTION
Cyber Patrol requires Macintosh System 7.0 or higher.
Beginning with Release 2.10.50, Cyber Patrol includes a Home Edition option that provides a subset of Cyber Patrol features free of charge. The differences among
the registration options are listed in the Registration Options topic of the online
Help file.
Beginning with Release 2.00.53, the CyberNOT List can be updated automatically from Cyber Central by marking the Auto CyberNOT Updates check box on the Preferences dialog. The default for Auto CyberNOT Updates is off. The Preferences dialog is selected from the File menu when the Cyber Patrol Headquarters dialog is displayed.
DO NOT MOVE CYBER PATROL APPLICATION OUT OF ITS FOLDER AFTER REGISTRATION
Note: after you register Cyber Patrol, do not attempt to move the Cyber Patrol application from its folder. If you move the application out of its folder, the Cyber Patrol application appears to be a copy instead of the original application and will no longer run.
HOW TO INSTALL CYBER PATROL
If this is an upgrade of version 1.0 or higher, save a copy of your existing Cyber Patrol application folder and the files in it.
1. If installing from a diskette, drag the diskette icon onto your hard drive, and install from your hard drive. (If you downloaded Cyber Patrol, the entire folder for installation is on your hard drive and can be installed from there.)
2. Locate the Cyber Patrol application in the Cyber Patrol application folder.
3. Double-click the icon to start the Cyber Patrol application.
4. You see a dialog box informing you that this is an "Upgrade" or an "Installation." Select OK to continue, or Cancel to abort Upgrade or Installation.
5. You see a dialog asking you to enter passwords for Headquarters and Deputy. Enter passwords of your choice (do not forget what they are!), and click OK, or click Cancel if you do not want to set the passwords yet. You can change the passwords later through Headquarters.
HOW TO START USING CYBER PATROL
1. If you are using a SLIP or PPP connection, establish a connection with your Internet provider (this step is optional. If you do not, then Cyber Patrol will dial for you).

4. Cyber Patrol is documented by its on-line Help system.
